Option for the Poor and Vulnerable
Jesus was so involved in the poor communities of the holy land that CST #4 calls us to help dignify those living in poverty. Privilege does not leave options for those who are poor and vulnerable. As privilege describes those people as living in the “lower class” they are born with extreme disadvantages. Those born into social systems that are deemed to be less privileged do not have the options that those who receive privilege just by being born.
